I love food. Eating it, making it, thinking about it, talking about it. Someone once said of me, “I’ve never met anyone who gets this excited about food.” And it’s true, I do get excited about it–like a giddy little child on Christmas morning. For years, I’ve been inundating my loved ones with my copious thoughts on eating, cooking, baking, and anything else having to do with food, so I thought… why not just have a place to house all of my food-related rambling?
And so, this blog was born. I can’t promise that it will always be interesting, but I can promise you that there will be lots of talk about food. Lots. Because when all else fails, there’s always food.
When I’m not eating or cooking or talking about/dreaming about/thinking about food, I do marketing for one of Fortune Magazine‘s Best Places To Work, Intuit (and yes, ladies and gentlemen, the title is well earned :)). That’s my day job. Outside of my day job, I devour books as though they’re food, write into the wee hours of the night (if you see me walking around in a daze, it’s because various plots and characters are colliding in my head, fighting to get out onto paper–or rather, the computer), run, run, run (and run some more), follow celebrity gossip, and volunteer and raise money for my favorite causes.
But of course, I never forget to eat. Or talk about it. Because… (wait for it…) when all else fails, there’s always food.
